Could be interesting if:

1) Eliminate NFL rules for the protection of the QB.
2) Use pre-1980 NFL rules on pass interference (thus eliminating 75% of all pass interference calls that are made in the NFL.)

You are left with a brilliant game NOT based so much on the qualify of the QB. The running game becomes more important. The lines become more important. Prima donna QBs become NOT SO IMPORTANT.
