If they were both going to be college freshmen this year and you could pick one of them, who would it be? You only get them for one year.

I'd take Porter. He's the more explosive player and also shoots better from outside. On the other hand, I think Tatum is stronger and also stronger with the ball. I was surprised how well he did last year when things got physical. I think both need work on defense. Porter may share the ball better. Tatum improved in that area late last year but didn't find the open man much in high school.

Bossi from Rivals said Porter is quite possibly the best high school senior in the last 15 yrs. His only comparable is KD. Good enough for me. I'll take Porter.

Eagle, I'm going with Tatum because of his stellar career in high school, @ Duke and being # 3 in the NBA draft. It may be difficult for Porter Jr. to achieve the college and NBA career that Tatum will have. I believe both Tatum and Porter Jr. have positioned themselves well for the future.

I look @ the Tatum-Porter Jr. match up like a card game in Vegas. Tatum has already hit a $ 20 million dollar pot ( Real Money ) and Porter Jr. is betting on the come but could hit a needed card to match the Tatum fortune.

Eagle and others, Is it wise to bet on the come or take the lock when big bucks are involved?

Always remember the " Golden Fleece Rule ".
