would really hope not. Watched them play Ritter that had to be the most unsportsmanlike display I have ever seen on a football field.Trinty
Who knows how the classifications/districts will shape up but I really like the Camdenton returning QB. Jeff Shore is quietly bringing that historic program back!they are ripe for the picking after their district
It's just like Mox and Fake Mox, Mox. But anyways, I say Kearney! I'm pretty sure Webb and Kearney have some history.....Ask Bullet, or the REALBULLET....The Mox is not sure who is who these days
Wonder, honestly, when we will all see these two hook up again. Webb, especially defensively, should be the C4 favorite (barring some classification surprise that moves them up later this month). Kearney is about as big a mystery as I can remember going into 2019. Will have to see how that rugged first three games (Harrisonville, Staley and Platte County) turn out. Would not be shocked to see them open 0-3. That would've been unthinkable not long ago at all..............It's just like Mox and Fake Mox, Mox. But anyways, I say Kearney! That is unthinkable to see an 0-3 Kearney. I remember streaming the radio broadcast of the Webb/Kearney state championship game a few years back. An 0-3 Kearney vs those teams isn't unbelievable. Just a couple years ago there was a 0-2 Webb City after starting the season with their two toughest conference foes CJ and Carthage.Wonder, honestly, when we will all see these two hook up again. losing the class 4 Defensive player of the year is a big hole for them to fill. Gaskill is gone and a couple defensive starters probably will move to the other side of the ballWonder, honestly, when we will all see these two hook up again. Most of the top programs in Class 4 seem in reload mode this year. What makes this fun...............who knows maybe some total darkhorse is lurking out there.Weathers may have another speedy bud

Kearney "could" be one of those off the pace around .500 teams nobody wants to see come district time..............they also face fast improving Belton, a Grain Valley with an elite HC and fast growing community PLUS close the regular slate at Smithville who returns the best RB maybe in all the KC Northland. If ShowMe is right Tonka won't be a pushover, either. Ray South also returns some good talent SO..............An 0-3 Kearney vs those teams isn't unbelievable. I was not being facetious at all saying Harrisonville and Platte County are my two C4 area teams to watch. The Cats bring a lot back and the Pirates have a very, very, very promising JR class (i.e. watch out everyone come 2020). Staley just flat has tooooo many athletes/depth for KTown these days. Frankly would expect this is the last year the two square off in the regular season. That is unthinkable to see an 0-3 Kearney. One just always feels like Webb will be *more* than fine ... but? I guess there are the occasional rare rebuilds for them.
Lot of compadres smiling in Webbville drinking coffee in the morning. The boys could be decent they keep their heads screwed on straightThey are a machine where a rare rebuild nets them a 7 point loss to the eventual state champ.

Overall record prediction? Will the K Dogs make it past the second round of the District playoffs? The returnee list is very thin this year..................

That will be a pretty emotional night up here as it will be the unveiling of the new stadium renovations but I suspect the Cats remember what happened last year and the returning starters situation is 180 degrees different. Actually because of recent history the Platte County game is probably their best shot. For whatever reason K is in PC's heads.K Dawgs would be lucky to win 2 of those. I’d say 1-2. Might beat Harrisonville.
If Ladue stays in Class 4, which they probably will then I won't be at all surprised to see a Webb-Ladue state championship showdown. Ladue returns four all-staters and reload overall. Like Webb, their defense should be solid as they'll have four starting d-linemen and two other returning linebackers. IMO they lost a special safety who was also their running back (offensive player of the year) that is irreplaceable like Gaskill. Offesively they won't be as good running the ball, but they will have a better passing attack on account they have the reigning 1st team all-state QB and at least four very capable wide receivers. They also should still be big and have more depth up front in the trenches.
Other than them I don't see anybody in Class 4 in St. Louis, particulary in District 3 to touch Webb City. Like someone stated before Camdenton will be a pretty decent team if they stay in Class 4. I see they had the highest enrollment out of anybody. A lot of us remember how they almost beat Webb. Paxton DeLaurent was amazing last year, but he will have a completely new batch of receivers although I believe two sophomores last year got injured and would've been more involved.
The Cardinals should have a better team you would think? Don't they return most of their starters on both sides of the ball? I know they lose a couple of special players in Gaskill and Henderson, plus Beason was a great field general at quarterback. Weathers is definitely going to be a beast if he can stay healthy, but they'll need to find him a decent No. 2 back. Is Kabala in consideration by any chance because that would be deadly.

Ladue, Webb and Camdenton were the clear cut best three in C4 last year and I agree with your title matchup. As for NWMO I am looking preseason at Harrisonville, Platte County or Smithville (with Grain Valley as my 2019 sleeper) repping this region vs. Ladue in the semifinals. If Ladue stays in Class 4, which they probably will then I won't be at all surprised to see a Webb-Ladue state championship showdown. Always a fun game.................I hope this year they expand the great charity Highway 92 rivalry deal to include Smithville. That round robin tied three ways for the Small Seven title last year with the Warriors proving best in the District playoffs. Those will all be great games! Wish I could make it to the rematch of PC vs Dawgs this year.
LOL they haven't employed the deseg program in years if that's what you're implying. I hope you're kidding. Some people say Ladue recruits but have no facts or data to back it up. Of course ever since they've started winning you hear a few bring that up.I truly mean all things I’m stating here. Thanks for the input on a STL school. I’m also certain they will be as well. I’m sure they “reloaded”. Now what kids were pulled out of what schools? Who knows. But I’m sure they recruited enough to meet Webb.
West Plains was very good last year and even put a running clock on Camdenton... St. Mary's is another team to keep an eye on in St. Louis. Their quarterback is getting D1 looks and have one of the best sophomores in all of Missouri at wide receiver, plus some transfers at the same position. However they're in the same district with Ladue and despite being arguably the most athletic team in 4A, they'll need a lot to beat Ladue most likely on the road come playoff time.Ladue, Webb and Camdenton were the clear cut best three in C4 last year and I agree with your title matchup. Karbala will see time in the backfield. West Plains had an all-time season in 2018 no question but I think their HC went to Harrison AR (someone in the know please advise) plus they were pretty SR heavy so will see about the Zizzers. The other issue is Camdenton may move back up to C5 when the new class/district asssignments come out this month (hopefully LOL).West Plains was very good last year and even put a running clock on Camdenton... St. Mary's is another team to keep an eye on in St. Louis. Sharing is caring in STL. So it wouldn’t surprise me. I’m not sure I’m taking your word for it. Regardless. Good luck lol
If Ladue has been "recruiting" those kids, it was back in elementary school, because those kind have played in Ladue's elementary program for along time. I would argue Ladue's school district loses more kids to private schools than gets from "recruiting"
Your "recruiting" argument is so stale and uninformed its laughable.

Much depends on how these new 2019-20 school year district and class assignments come out. Helias Catholic should be readjusting to Hentges returning last year so I would not be at all surprised to see them return to contention.Hannibal is a team to watch on the east side of the State. They're bringing in a championship caliber coach, and a whole new coaching staff. Hannibal always have good talent on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I heard Helias is gonna be a top 5 team in C4 but can't confirm that.
Where do you project K's overall record this year? Just curious..............Nope...Kearney's V and JV slaughtered Harrisonville last year. It won't be close. K by 21.
Ladue's school district has over 27,000 residents and the high school has right around 1300 students. Do the math lol.If Ladue has been "recruiting" those kids, it was back in elementary school, because those kind have played in Ladue's elementary program for along time. All I know is (jumped on the bandwagon November 2016 vs. KTown) Ladue is doing things right and is here to stay.....................a third matchup vs. Webb this December for it all in C4 will be amazing should it happen.Ladue's school district has over 27,000 residents and the high school has right around 1300 students. Do the math lol.
Will be very curious to see how HVille reacts to the HC suddenly vacating the position............again that is in their house so no further comment. That will be a pretty emotional night up here as it will be the unveiling of the new stadium renovations but I suspect the Cats remember what happened last year and the returning starters situation is 180 degrees different.
