Although there are many deserving coaches out there, in my opinion, Oak Grove's Bob Glasgow is the best coach in the state.

I get tired of Glasgow always overiding the referees. I know at districs I saw a bunch of times where his player did not get the call and he got up and complained to the ref. Than the ref would go to the table and say that "dear old Bob" was right. Yeah but there is no doubt in my that is is probaly one of the greates coaches in Missouri. That is probaly why6 he gets all the calls.

I would have to say Farmington's coaches Mark and John Krause.

Although he has just startd his own program, Kirk Gross of Herky has to be considered as one of the top coaches. He has a committed attitude to teaching his athletes all aspects of wrestling as well as molding young men into respectable human beings. Gross is a dynamic leader that will get his athletes to give everything they have. Won loss record aside, he is a true asset to anyone's staff.

I would have to agree with plenitude,the Krause brothers are two great coaches. I have watched Mark bring that program from just a hobby to a way of life for those kids. It is just like one big family to those kids. Then you add John to the mix and it is just explosive to watch those two work side by side. Even their father who works with the AAU program there could be put in with some of the best.

Greg Rich used to coach at Kearney. He is definately one of the all-time best coaches in the state. As a former athlete of his, I know that every athlete that went thru his program is a better man because of it.(even though i did not like him at the time I now know that he is a legend at Kearney)

Yes, Coach Gross is a good coach and a good guy. Works hard and is a good motivator.
