I'd say Wacha 2, Garcia 3 and you may not need a 4 with the off days. Lynn will be there if needed. If they put Martinez in the pen I hope it doesn't mess with his head because he WILL be needed at some point. This is assuming Garica will still be in one piece a month from now.

Totally agree with this...Lackey 1, Wacha 2, Garcia 3, Lynn 4 if needed. CMart to pen, not because he hasn't been really good in the rotation, but because I think he'll be REALLY good again in the pen. FWIW, Hayes and Strauss and about any other person I hear say anything on it around the Birds, says CMart would relish the move. Those same guys also say Lynn would be really pissed about going to the pen.

They very well might think the same thing Duck. Some long-in-tooth experience to get started with plenty of backup if needed, then go with the numbers on the other guys home and away.

Can't see Lynn getting the opener the way he's been going unless he has ridiculous numbers against the opponent but he may very well be in the playoff rotation somewhere.

I can't say I have a no doubt choice for game 1 of any series they play in. The whole staff has been collectively unbelievable this season. That includes Garcia when he came back after me and several others on here thought he was done a Cardinal months ago. I don't know anyone that thought he would be in this rotation come September.
