They picked up AJP and played him a lot when Yadi was hurt. Do they go back to him now or stick with the Cruzer? Can the Boston connection get a big win at SF?

AP would be fine with me. Cruz will be better than he was last night. He wasn't expecting to play last night. When Cruz prepares he will be OK. I am fine with either one.

I want to give a shoutout to the overlooked Lance Lynn last night. He did a great job.

I have a feeling it will be Cruz...which I think is a mistake. I don't think either are good enough defensively for it to make a difference, so might as well play the dude with the better bat. AJ gets my vote.

Gun to my head they don't replace him because they can't put him on the WS roster if they take him off now.

Pierzynski is starting game 3. Mark it down.

Freeman...there really isn't a worthy bat not on the roster.

I would go with AP. He brings some edge and swag to the team that we are going to need on the road. Lance Lynn was tough last night even with a shrinking strike zone as the game went on.

Agree. Will be interesting to see if they pull the trigger.
They should. Not like people heal up from oblique strains in a week or two. Next man up. Dude like Yadi, if it weren't pretty severe, he wouldn't have come out last night. But I see them waiting. It's what they do. Not like there's a great history of medical diagnosis with this organization.

They delayed the team flight so Yadi could go with them and he will stay on the roster, at least for now. He threw but did not swing a bat today. Pierzynski will get the start catching Lackey in game 3.
