Who are the Teams to Beat

Ok folks. The season is on top of us. Who are the favorites in:


KC Metro?


St. Louis Metro?


Statewide Class 4?


Statewide Class 3?


Statewide Class 2?


Statewide Class1?


Would love to hear everyone's opinions.

I'll take a shot,
Class 4-- Webb City, Liberty and Oakville
Class 3-- Centralia, Harrisonville and Grain Valley
Class 2-- Pleasant Hope is my favorite, Palmyra, maybe Stockton and Marionville
Class1 -- ?????

Since districts won't be released until August 17. Classes could change

On the KC side Lee's Summit should be in the mix as well. You can't ever count out Paige Parker and Truman. Pleasant Hill should be tough in Class 3. Anybody know anything about De Soto in Class 3 on the East side? They have the Canada kid throwing for them. I think Ozark should be tough down south.

Desoto should be good but you have to go through Cape ND to get to the final 4.

In class 1 from the semo area Naylor should be good again.

Does Naylor have the same girl pitching as last year? If so she can throw really well.

Yes she is a senior and they have a sophomore that pitched for them in the summer league that has a chance to be pretty good too.

Oran should compete in class 1. New coach, all starters return I think, sharp freshman pitcher.

Walnut Grove will be in the hunt in class 1 they played St. Elizabeth 11 innings in sectionals last fall and only lost 2 starters.

Naylor has started the seaon 5-0 with a big win over Cape Notre Dame and winning the Houston Tournament this weekend.
