Yes indeed, when the small towns basketball team wins their way to
the final-four things happen.
The local store quickly runs out of white shoe polish, poster board and
the big magic markers of school colors…T-shirt print shops are working
overtime.
The merchants encourage students to decorate their windows.
Yard signs spring up. The mini-vans and SUVs fastly become rolling
billboards.
Signs spring up along the main road out of town.
The local police and fire department vehicles escort the team bus leaving town..
Last one out, turn off the lights…lol Just a few barking dogs keeping watch.
At the game most everyone wears the newly printed final-four T’s of school
colors and the loyalist take it a step further with face paint, wigs n things..
