Top Intelligence officials with high profile positions and Top Secret Clearance are prohibited of taking anything because of their government position. Since probably about none of the people sending him money would even know him if it wasn’t for his government position it’s not going to go well. Republicans don’t have to prove anything. Democrats have to get enough evidence to convince the House to approve articles of impeachment, and convince senators to even vote on conviction much less get 20 republicans to vote with all democrats

If The Dems don’t bring Trumps accuser to testify Moscow Mitch will hold a vote to dismiss all charges (just like they did in the senate for Clinton) and it will be over the first day

Isn’t ever going to happen, this to Trump is the last season of The Apprentice and at the end he gets to say “Your Fired” and use his innocence in 4 years of investigations and lies to get elected again

Factually true, but in the game of public opinion, if you have a strong case, you make it. This isn't a lame duck President; if he really did a great job, you'd want to shout it from the rooftops instead of being terrified about what will come out in the next transcript.

The problem they have is they really don't know what all he did and when he did it, so they don't know how far out on the ledge they should go.

Normal Presidents would have legal counsels who figured out how bad it was and would have politicos working with them to set up messaging that was defensible.
