Trying to decide which game in SWMO to go to.

Seneca at Lamar
Sullivan at Reeds Spring
Frances Howell at Carthage

What will be the best game? I am leaning towards Seneca-Lamar

I couldn't imagine being in shouting distance of that Carthage/Howell game and not going. Honestly think it's going to be a good one. Carthage D (especially run D) probably doesn't get the credit it deserves. They're darned good up front and Gall is obviously a special one at the LB spot. I think they're going to be all Howell wants and probably then some.

You are probably right. It is likely to be the best game of the three. I saw Lamar-Seneca earlier this year. Not sure Lamar will make the same mistakes they did that game. I just know the crowd is going to be crazy. The interest in the RS game was mainly seeing another area team get to a place they are not used to going. I think the Wolves have a great chance to win, if they play like they are capable of. Those Stone County folks will go crazy if their Wolves do get the W. Going to Carthage would let me see Gall again.

How many Webb City folks will head over to watch this one? This could be a huuuuuuge crowd like several other top games (not sure where they will put everyone in Smithville rain or no this Saturday PM for instance).

Some of the Webb folks will head to Lamar with all the connections thru the 3 programs.

Reeds could be crazy, might be thier time.

Probably going to see a bit bigger faster football at Carthage / Howell but don't overlook Seneca and Lamar because you've got two conference foes that are only an hour apart if that so there will be a lot of folks and emotion there. Sometimes those big but small games are just tough to beat!

It's tough to say where the Webbies will go. I think most of them "like" Lamar and Seneca more plus they have coaching connections to both of those programs. I did talk to a guy from Webb yesterday and mentioned the game saturday and he said "oh are they still playing?".

If I was to pick any games, without consideration of location, venue size, etc.- just good matchup of teams that have a decent chance of winning the next round also- I'd go to either Francis Howell/Carthage or East Buch/Duchesne.

Went to Reeds Spring. Good game for a half. A couple of Reeds Spring turnovers helped keep Sullivan in it. Wolves hit on an 80 yd bomb to end the first half and just rolled in the second half. RS really found their stride in the last six weeks or so. Not sure they lose either of those games they lost, this year, if they got to play again.
