Where is Missouri State going with Football?

Does it? Not sure the state supports the one we have well enough to "deserve" a other. Also, the BCS died years ago.

I agree and how can MSU even dream about having a FBS program when nobody gives a rat's behind about their current program. MSU is a Bball school and just verily tolerates football.

Is it just MSU or the area? I have always wondered why with all the Athletic talent that Springfield and some of surrounding towns can put on the Basketball court why has no Springfield public high school been able to bring home or even sniff a state title in football? I think that area just thinks of football as a hobby, something you do before basketball.

The only surprise was the level of bitchiness. BCS, FBS, so I’m old.…old enough to remember FDS though…try some.

Who's botching? Can you focus on the point of my response, the state barely supports Mizzou, why does it "deserve" two FBS schools when it barely supports one?

I agree whole 100% this area produces some talent but they are so focused on Basketball. I've seen a ton of DE and TE types who only play basketball and at best are Ncca 11 or NAIA bball players but could possibly play Division 1 football with their 6'5 frames and quickness. But in most towns Basketball is king
