Where does Kearney's win rank among all-time title game wins?

Is this the most epic win in Show-Me Bowl history? Winning on a goal line stand against the Nationally ranked, 5 time defending Class 4 Champions with a 42 game winning streak on the line.
The only game I recall myself is the Harrisonville/MICDS double overtime game of 2004, 45-42. Can you guys recall any others?

The 2004 MICDS v Harrisonville game in fact went to triple OT. Not only that, MICDS was down 28-3 and 35-10 at different times in the 1st half. Amazing game...

Probably one of the most exciting and dramatic finishes for sure but it's hard to call it epic given the final play being an unforced error. Just my two cents. It was a good effort by the Bulldogs and Cardinals but I would preferred to see it end because someone made a great play and not due to a mistake. It reminded me of watching Jackson miss a game tying extra point after driving for a TD in the closing seconds of the 95 championship game against Camdenton.

All in all it just felt like we didn't see either team's best. I wonder if we are asking these kids to play a few too many games and they are wearing down by the time they reach the championship.

I think Webb and Kearney should start scheduling a regular season match up.

I personally think the Aurora-California game in 1999 was tops. Maybe even the Aurora- Malden game in 1969, but maybe I'm an Aurora fan. : - )

listening to it sounded like a game with a lot of mistakes and penalties should rank very low if the radio broadcasters were reporting correctly.

I hate to post this but here is the video evidence of Harrisonville/MICDS double overtime game from 2004 Show-Me Bowl. Harrisonville had the ball first in OT #1 and scored. MICDS would match on their possession with a score. In 2nd OT MICDS would kick a field goal. Harrisonville would go for it on 4th down for the win getting a pass into the end zone knocked down.

Webb vs Clayton in 2004. 2-3 overtimes, cant remember. WC goes for it on 4th for win when they could have kicked a field goal to tie. They were held short. In this game WC player made it over, just not with the ball. Clayton was a real heartbreaker too, just like this one. Clayton was all I could think about as the boys approached the line. When you make it to state 16 times in 26 years and your up against great teams, great athletes, it bound to happen more than once or twice. I'll take a few more considering the alternative.

I believe that was actually just one OT, could have been two, and Webb went for two for the win only to get stopped short. That was one of the few times where I understood going for two because Webb's defense was gassed trying to run down that Byrd kid who ended up playing as a safety in the NFL.

Totally agree.............Jairus Byrd is in the twilight of what has been an All Pro career.

Yeah I think your right. The kid was something else to watch. Good arm too.
