You are absolutely correct but he did publicly state his opinion prior which was what MLB did.
This sure doesn't sound like their voting laws are "the same." It looks, unsurprisingly, like many conservatives forgot that you can find all that info in about 2 seconds and that trusting politicians (yes, even from your own side; Democrats aren't the only lying liars) to tell the entire truth is an exercise in foolishness.
So Presidents saying something makes people do stuff? Interesting.
If Georgians don't like the new voter laws they need to take that up at the ballot box. Every person who voted to enacted that law is an elected official, when up for re-election vote them out if you don't like it majority rules!!
We as americans have the right to vote, either for the things we support or don't support. Yes it might be two years before those laws can be changed, but the power of the ballot box is real, if you really want to change something bad enough go get in line, for that one time a year and VOTE!!! Don't let corporation, pro athletes or movie stars have more power than the ballot box!!
You know what I find funny.... They are doing an examination of the voting records of those who charged capital building, what they are finding is about 1 in 5 didn't vote in the last election, yet they believed the election was stolen from Trump...yet they never even voted.
I find it pathetic how people will complain about something but yet they are the problem because they refuse to vote. It is easier to complain than just go vote...

The voting records of the rabble-rousing rapscallions at the capitol is maybe the least surprising thing I've heard in a while. I think we often underestimate the apathy of our population (on both sides fo the political spectrum) when it comes to the political realm. Much of the apathy is rooted in a deep misunderstanding of our government, and much of it is rooted in frustration over how the government seems to function (or not function). But the reaction to frustration of too many people is to give up and not even try to participate in the political process...but then to participate in the protests.
