In another thread someone said there have been 60 D1 players come out of St. Louis the past five years. If anyone is in the know, I'd be interested in where these kids are now. I just know of 1 that has has had meaningful minutes in a D1 program:

Ronnie Perkins, DE, LN '17 season, Big part of Oklahoma's defense as a sophomore with several sacks. Played a lot as a Freshman last fall as well. Fun to watch. I'd guess he plays one more year and enters the league?

And several more for 2020.

Thanks for your thorough list, though I think you missed my point.

The key word here is meaningful. Preferred walk-ons that don't make it through the first year don't really count. I'm not trying to argue or prove anything. I am truly interested.

Out of the 6 you list in 2017, 2 have played meaningful minutes and two aren't even on the rosters of the schools you mentioned. That's kinda what I'm interested in.

Yeah they transferred, but none of them were preferred walk-ons. If they're not playing it's because some of them are redshirt sophomores or freshmen on major college football teams. Give it another couple years before deciding they haven't "accomplished anything". That's what St. Louis is pumping out. Be impressed that these kids are even getting these opportunities.

Hassan Haskins is playing minutes at Michigan as a sophmore and Gabbert started as a fresh, that’s pretty good, I would think you would see more names next year. As you know, it’s hard at the next level as an underclassmen

Good to hear. Great to see MO kids making it big. I understand the process and red-shirting. Never said anything about anyone not accomplishing anything, quite the contrary.

2017 kids have actually done pretty well.

Marquis Hayes - starts on oline at Oklahoma
Shane Clelin - Started at left tackle last year, not sure about this year
Tony Adams - starts in secondary at Illinois, arguably best Illinois
secondary player this season. His pick was huge in the
upset win vs Wisconsin
Andrew Clair - Doak Walker watch list pre
season, battled injuries this year so has not had the
impact he had last year

Looks like EDrink has some work to do recruiting in his backyard when he gets to work at Mizzou. Lots of trunk slammers poaching MO talent!
