Since when have police departments started putting "In God We Trust" on their police cars? I read online Lawrence County is doing this and a bunch of other departments are doing this. Are tax payers paying for this? Why is this necessary?

Well I figure its on all of our money why shouldnt it be on a cop car if they want it there

good lord :)

From the information I have seen on this, the money was privately donated cow.

Is this necessary? My opinion would be no. Is it necessary on our money? My opinion would be no.

Is it as controversial as the confederate flag on government property? To some people, it probably is.

If it's private money, no problem. If it's taxpayer money, that's a problem.

I wonder if that University cop in Cincinnati had in God we trust. I don't care what they put on cop cars, as long as they stop killing unarmed people.

that cop did something real stupid I could not agree more. BUT like most of these situations if the guy wouldnot have been breaking the law in the first place, had answered reasonable questions when asked, not tried to flee the scene and evade arrest, and done what the cop asked him to do nothing would have ever happened.

The real issue with this thing in Cincy is how both cops lied. A logical person would conclude that if these guys did it then it's probably something that happens more often than we know.

Body cams should be required for all public employees including teachers and admins. While you're on the job they stay on...sans restroom time .

Is it necessary, not to me. If I were a cop who seemingly no one supported, maybe. At times it must feel like God is the only one they can count on.

You should try being a teacher/coach. Never know which hand is holding the knife.

why were university police pulling random people over off campus? That seems like stupid policy to me.
