July is already tomorrow we are on the clock, folks, at T-minus EIGHT weeks to opening evening!

Early thoughts and opinions on this (same as last year) All Star Classic in the making?

once again LSN is loaded and now they have a big time qb.
would not be surprised if LSN wins this one

Any idea who Liberty North is throwing out at QB? Their defense gets a lot of love but their skill positions on offense will be nasty. Jacorey Love, Keelan Smith, and Jayshawn Ross, don’t know if they will have him playing both sides of the ball this season though.

If you notice, four of the players on that list are from Liberty North. Their Junior QB Tillman, will be an impact player, from what I am hearing. He is a strong 7 on 7 player, lots of skills. They won't miss a beat from last year with a lot of talent around the field. This courtesy of KC Prep Zone who posted this on the KC metro players to watch/recruitment thread.

Watch Liberty North's defense dominate.
These two plus CBC have become quite the strange triangle: Liberty North seems to match up poorly vs. CBC but well vs. LSN while the Broncos have had CBC beat the last two years and let 'em barely escape. I sincerely hope Spectrum carries this one this year.

LSN and Liberty North probably have the two most talented teams in the state.
This is an overall UP year in the KC Metro. I would like to know how many O Linemen the LN Eagles return. That was their weakness last year and CBC really exposed it especially in that fateful 3rd quarter. Assuming no coaching changes there they still have, in my estimation, the top OL coach in the Metro if not State.

Will get to the other teams in all classes who could have huge years in other threads. Just SEVEN weeks til it all starts to unfold holy cow!

Adding Michael Lane into the mix for Lee's Summit North is a big plus. The guy is a bad ass. At least he was two years ago at Winnetonka. Last year he had 14 yards a reception for PHS for about 600 yards. Dynamic playmaker.

Have to take all preseason polls with a grain of salt but was impressed Maxpreps placed LS North in their National Top 100.

I'm going with Liberty North in game one. Probably a mistake, but they are bringing in some badasses on the line and in the backfield positions. But you are right, the O line in the question mark. The D will be ferocious.

As stated before the past two years Liberty North simply seems to match up well with LSN. Definitely THE game to watch in five weeks!
