What happened to the KCI?

It just weird to me that Penney, Lawson, and Lathrop have all been down the past two or three years. With East and Mid Buchanan picking up the slack. Are those two schools getting all of the talent? I remember back as recently as 2018 when there were 5 teams in that conference that were title contenders in their respective classes.

The KCI and GRC are both not what they used to be.

It is a shame, it used to be fun to watch that conference play each other on film, always felt like every team was in cover 0 at all times and they all had unique offenses as well

The kaysinger had 4 appearances in 4 years and one championship, that is all very recent success

top to bottom, the KCI is not what it once was.

Was bound to happen at some point. That conference has been one of the better small conferences in the state for a long time. It's a numbers thing for most of them, Plattsburg doesn't have much, Lawson numbers are down, future classes look okay, MB will likely fall back to the pack here in the next few years.
