WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS INFORMATION--- The way to get noticed is to take the next, most important step and get to the event. This showcase is brand new and while we’re extremely experienced in conducting events of this type, it’s new to players in Missouri and Illinois, and new to the coaches in these states.
Coaches have inquired about players who will be attending. Players and parents have inquired about coaches who will be attending.
For a fall event, it is considered a good event when 25-35 coaches attend. The difference between our event and others is the after event release of player breakdown information to coaches, with our comprehensive assessment of the players and our knowledge of what coaches need to know about kids that they can’t always get out to see.
Recruiting budgets are limited --- A showcase event allows coaches, in a short period of time, to assess a large pool of players in a short amount of time. No matter your credentials, abilities or even your assessed potential level of play, your stats in your school or area, no matter how impressive, might not draw coaches out during their seasons to see you play.
This is a great opportunity to help us build this as a venue for you to show what you can do in a regional venue, and for coaches to see what you can do in one place, on one day.
TO REGISTER: Go to www.magicbball.org and click on “MISSOURI MAGIC SHOWCASE BROCHURE” in the upper right hand corner of the “Missouri Magic Basketball Club” web page. You can print the brochure or you can register online with a credit card.
Cost of the event is $95 and includes three games, two tee-shirts and after event evaluation in your hands, as well as direction of your eval and profile information to this list.
You have until October 7 to register for this event. Time to get busy.
