What are we getting into in the Middle East this time?

Some of our new coalition partners say they promise to help in the fight against ISIS and they will even "cut back" on funding terrorists! How will we ever be able to make any headway against terrorists if our "friends" in the Middle East are funding them? I guess the billionaires, Princes and Kings in Saudi Arabia and Qutar are really afraid ISIS is coming to take over their oil fields and palaces and behead them too. Why else would they promise to "cut back" on their funding fro terrorists?

Perhaps there may be good Arabs in the World also 3r?
The Big Oil thing is for the real terrorist that Barack Obama talks about...
The Tea Party...lol

Is there another person in this world who worries more about oil fields, oil and gas prices, as much as 3R does? lol

Since when is commenting on a message board "worrying"? You must be really "worried" about various football teams and the shooting in Ferguson if that's the case. At least oil and gas prices do have an affect on my life, the other things really don't.

I should add my post was NOT about oil and gas prices anyway. It was about the folks that have the oil and the palaces getting worried that ISIS will come for them so now they would like to help us fight them off. Well not really fight, just allow our people to train others to fight them on Saudi land. That is after funding terrorists for many years that were not a threat to them. But they are promising to cut back on that.

Think everyone on this board would disagree with you 3r.
Football is EVERYTHING

Get with the program...

Think about how much money a year big oil takes from you. Add to that all the tax credits they get, that your taxes have to cover for. Johnny down the street getting food stamps ain't so bad.

I'm really out of the loop here, I haven't seen a high school football or volleyball game yet this fall. I will but I haven't yet. Pretty obvious several of us are NOT at a high school football game tonight. I was watching on TV when Matt Holliday hit a screaming line drive into Big Mac Land. It left his bat at 110.2mph. Not sure I've ever seen a ball hit any harder than that.

vb,
Soccer was designed to contribute Great Kickers to our sport of HSF..
We thank them for that...

On the other hand, Volleyball contributes nothing.
Therefore your opinion does not count.

3r,
FYI
I post 80% from my phone.
Some of those post are from the stadium I'm at, at the time.
I don't know anyone who still uses home computing anymore.

I can't say you "know" me but you know I use home a computer and I'll bet there are many others that do too. After some the stuff I've seen on here done on an I-Phone I wouldn't brag on how well they work for this. My home computer is a Apple I-Mac though. I do not have an I-Phone and currently have no need for one. My phone will make and receive calls and send and receive texts. I have no urgent need for internet on my phone and all the things you pay extra for once you get one. Heck I even use cash rather a debit card to buy some things.

I use a home computer.
I have never sent a text (though my phone will) nor used phone internet.
I have never used a debit card.
So there!

There ya go scout, there are still some us out there. BTW you must not be very interested in the football game if you're posting on the PC board from your phone in the stadium.

Didn't know I'd start a new thread by saying that no one "I" knew still used outdated PC's anymore to post sporting events live....lol
Gee People!
As for their accuracy...
Yal sure their's going to be punctuation errors, verbal technology is not perfect....
But neither is my typing ...

But editing your posts in an attempt to keep you from looking silly seems to work very well. My comments were about the original post, not that redo.

I wasn't really aiming my post at Scout. 3R, you seemed proud of your position on use of technology and I was one-upping you. I really do appreciate all the technological advances but just laugh at all the people addicted to it.

Just stating that I am in this century, but like you, NOT addicted to all the gadgets and gimmicks that go with it. There are some people I have to use texting to communicate with, or at get them to call me, and it's handy to let someone know to call me at their convenience rather than taking a call at a bad time. I can say more in 2 minutes talking than I can texting back and forth for 10 minutes.

3r,
I go to games each week, C4-C6, Kansas and Missouri.
I send in scores real time, most people appreciate that.

Scouty I use a home computer but when I text I need at 20 minutes per sentence and I am too old and cranky to worry about grammar and speeling as most of you on this site have already figured out. You guys have a great week at work I have to get back to being retired

I wasn't talking about sending scores, I was talking about posting on the PC board from a game. I was gonna tell Miller how handy texting is during basketball season, especially the playoffs. I can only be in one place at a time so I send scores to others from the game I'm watching and they send em to me from the game they're watching. Much better than trying to talk on the phone in a noisy gym.

A good use indeed. I just marvel at those who break out in a sweat if they realize they forgot their phone (as if forgetting it is possible), and those who text while within talking distance.
