Ventura got the right guy and he knew it. I wish that Ned would have come out and argued Ventura's case. There is no way that Earl Weaver or Billy Martin would have just sat back and let it go. The Royals have been hit 13 times this year and I don't recall any of the pitchers getting a warning even when they hit 3 batters in a game.
