The Nationals won 70+% of Scherzer's starts. When he didnt start they were well below .500. His other stats were fabulous, but THIS is the most important one.
The Mets had a .475 win rate as a team. In games started by DeGrom they won at .438. He had incredible stats. Did he help his team win? Cy Young, my arse.
