Glendale is putting up crazy stats, can it continue ? West plains is starting where they left off. ill take the falcons in a mild upset.

Agreed. Haven't seen Glendale, but West Plains is pretty salty. Solid defense that gets to the ball, and hits pretty danged hard when they get there. They're strong enough to get on the receivers early, and good enough to get to the QB. I think their offense is pretty good, and don't see them having much trouble moving the ball against Glendale. IMO, it'll be tough for Glendale's offense to get much of a rhythm going.Glendale put up crazy stats all year last year as well. They ended up with 2 wins.
I'll take West Plains 42-21 and that's being generous. Camdenton tried throwing the ball when West Plains shut down their running game and it wasn't pretty. 3-4 sacks, 3-4 QB hurries, and an interception. West Plains has a pretty good offense, but it's their defense that wins them games. Glendale's got some talented receivers, but they haven't experienced being hit like West Plains will yet this year.
I don't think it'll be as easy as some are saying. The Glendale offense gets the ball out really quickly, which negates the pass rush. If I were WP, I'd toy with some 2 and 3 man rushes and drop as many into coverage as possible. Especially if they still don't have the Williams kid back yet. Anyone know what his prognosis on returning is?
Joplin is not bad and I was shocked at how many yards they gave up to Glendale but I think the offense throws so many times a game they will hit some !
Right, but the WHO they've played is also important. Kickapoo and Glendale are two opponents. High powered offenses will score... West Plains has given up 95, but 68 of those were to Glendale...Joplin is not bad??? They have given up 131 points in 3 games!!! Thats 43.6 points per game.
Well I guess we'll see when Joplin comes to West Plains next week for homecoming.
WP is averaging 42 points/game. And if I'm correct, their defense is allowing less than 100 yds a game in rushing. Now granted, Glendale didn't run the ball. But Waynesville is an option team and camdenton was in the I and the stacked I and a little bit of power I all night long.
Now the passing defense last week.... that's a whole different story. They did give up 625 yds to the leading passer in the nation.
Chaotic
In fairness I think he is the leading passer in the nation because you gave up 625 yards passing.
As for WP-Joplin. I like WP in this one.
