West Plains @ Camdenton

I know there has already been a thread started about this game on Friday. Just want to open up some conversation about predictions for the game.
Neither team has been tested thus far.

This game will more than likely decide the winner of the Ozark Conference(not sleeping on Lebanon, just going with my gut here) and will let us see where two of the Top 5 teams in the state in Class 4 stand and measure up.

Recent meetings:

2012: Camdenton(8-5) 39-15 over West Plains(0-10)
2013: Camdenton(10-2) 35-15 over West Plains(3-7)
2014: West Plains(8-3) 19-13 over Camdenton(8-3)
2015: West Plains(10-2) 13-12 over Camdenton(3-7)

I'm not a slave to statistics but find it interesting that the last three games at Camdenton have all been 1 point wins for WP. This is based upon my shallow research and therefore I don't vouch for it because I don't want to put out any fake news. If true though, I don't think it portends well for WP. Camdenton has been a tough place to win over the years (they don't call it The Jaws of Death for nothing) and they have to really be smarting from those last three 1 point losses. I am also a big fan of Ary and he is gone to Arkansas. Don't know their new HC at all but he will have his hands full for sure.

Gonna be a good game.. If West Plains defense keeps the quarter back in check West Plains wins. If not it might be a track meet.. Who knows, but I believe it will be a good game with both teams giving their all..

Oh I completely agree as far as it’s going to be tough to win at Camdenton. I think it will be a great game. Personally, I’ll take West Plains 42-28.

The 13th and a full moon................sensing upset city tonight! As for the game at hand gotta go with that Camdenton QB at home by 7-10.

If WP can get an early lead and hold on to it they will win. I do however think if the Lakers can outscore WP they could pull off a huge early season victory. This one might come down to whoever has the most points on the scoreboard.
