Lair and Washington make the tackle on 2nd down. Incomplete pass. 4th and 8. Vikings punt to Marcak on the 34. Rackley to Miller, but holding penalty takes it back to the 18. Vikings facemask moves it up to the 31. Lidgard blasts all the way to the 20, but holding takes it way back to the 48. Rackley to Lidgard for the first down on the 40! Rackley keeps for 4. Lidgard just shy of the first down. Rackley to Lidgard incomplete. Vikings penalty takes it to the 26, first down. Lair gets stopped on the line. Rackley long to Ackerson in the end zone, but penalty takes it back. Lidgard runs to the 21. Rackley finds Miller for the first down on the 9! Lidgard runs it in! Fisher gets the extra point! 35-0 #Zizzers lead Parkview 7:41 in the 2nd quarter.

I believe Maldens mascot is the Green Wave? Green Crush? Something like that. The story behind it is pretty interesting. If I recall correctly, the Vikings would dump this dye into the ocean, so the waves on the shores of countries they were about to invade, would get smashed with green waves.

I’ve been wondering the same. I’m betting that his yards from scrimmage are about the same per game as last year, but his rushing yards are down since he’s sharing carries with Lair, Seeley, and Rackley. But his all-purpose yards are probably great.
They’re not posting offensive stats on maxpreps I’ve noticed so we probably won’t know until the end of the season.

In this case it was a ring not a ball but smeagol broke for the ball instead of playing the man. If he was just a little more disciplined there, then their would probably have been a very different outcome... It also would've help if all of Mordor's good players hadn't all transferred to St. Louis private schools..
