I agree. Granted, they’ve beaten everyone but the OC isn’t what it was 10-15 years ago. They joined in 02 and it was much more competitive the first 8-10 years in the conference.
We shall see. Helias also hasn’t played anyone of note. They play bigger schools, but those bigger schools are all in the bottom half of their classes, if not the cellar. With the exception of maybe Rock Bridge. Very similar to WP schedule.
As far as CJ is concerned...
Even if WP did play Nixa, there’s no way in hell that they would be down 49-0 with 2 min left in the first half like CJ was last night.
I fully expect the Zizzers to be CJ something like 49-21

I agree WP will beat CJ. I just think it might be closer than it should be due to the vast strength of schedule differences. Obviously last night was awful for CJ but they also lost to Carthage by 1 and were within 7 of Webb with a minute to go. It just depends on which team shows up.
I feel like CJ has definitely played up or down to their opponents in the majority of their games so it could make for an interesting matchup here in about a month.

Possibly but that St Dominic score gives me pause. Who knows how it plays out but right now it looks like West Plains and Helias are the teams to beat.
Ever since the “district Tournament” came into play, the first round after districts is the quarterfinals.
the district championship acts as the sectional, so to speak.

Assuming each are the #1 seed in their respective districts and with this being an even numbered year then Helias would host being on the bottom side of the bracket.
That could potentially mean that WP could go without hosting any playoff games, assuming they make a run.
If the D7/D8 winner hosted, then WP would host. Only way.
MICDS definitely has a solid offense, but their defense needs work. Fred Bouchard will get the job done.
