Judd just had an off night offensively. And if that happens against a team like Strafford, they’re going to lose.

You should probably watch the game next time instead of just listening, Chaotichater. Judd is a stud and played well. Strafford got hands on the ball often making it tough for her to get shots off. When she got free, she scored most of the time. There was no “off night”, it was good defense most of the time. The “fouls game” you refer to was started by WP….., because they were losing. The officiating was fair. Strafford had two starters on the bench half of the 2 nd quarter and the Jones kid (a sophomore) did a spectacular job guarding Judd and was called for two fouls that could have been called a jump ball. WPs guards got outplayed period. Strafford hit 3s because that’s what they do and what is needed against a zone only team. WP is fortunate that Strafford committed a TON of unforced turnovers or it may have been worse. It was a great game…… ya should of seen it.

Judd had an off game, I would say when a player that averages about 30 a game only scores 15, that’s an off night.
Strafford is lucky she wasn’t on, or they would have buried the Lady Indians, but hey, Strafford won, congrats to them. They’ve been a fine ball club for awhile now.
And both teams were turnover prone the whole game so don’t use that as an excuse as to why strafford didn’t score more. Both teams had lots of fouls and had players on the bench throughout the game.
WP wins that game 4 out 5 times, but I guess we’ll never know since they never meet in the regular season.

Judd’s “off night” was in large part, due to the pressure D that Strafford applied to both Judd and the WP guards. I agree that Judd is phenomal, I mean she has like 15 or more D-1 offers stretching from California all the way to NY.

She just didn’t perform up to her norm against Strafford, and yeah, I’m sure Straffords double team had something to do with it, but it’s not the first or the last double team shes going to face and normally it doesn’t make a difference.

Both teams were missing layups, turning the ball over repeatedly, it was just a sloppy game in general in comparison with how both teams normally play.

Well said. The downfall of the WP team is going to come because of poor guard play. It is their Achilles heel and teams that can take advantage of it will give them problems. Now Judd is good enough on most nights to overcome that, but not always.
