I was really concerned that we might struggle in our opening game against Hillcrest. We lost our first and second string quarterbacks to injury.. Rackley will be back in two weeks. Ramsuer will be out all season. The third string quarterback looked very well composed. But my concerns where put at ease. Lidgard and Lair who is a 220 pound freshman power back he looks to have good future ahead of him. But what impressed me the most was the defense.. holding Hillcrest to -1 total yards. If we can stay healthy and focused on conference play.. we should have a very competitive year come district..
