I'm watching the game delayed. Mustangs get close to the zizzer red zone on the next possession, WP D steps up and makes some big stops, Center Hill goes for it on 4th down from about the WP 40 yard line after take a few big losses of yardage and pass is incomplete.

I was suprised by the amount of passing. Kenslow has really improved his passing compared to last year. Offense line looked solid. Definitely need to work on the snapper for the extra point. There was a few rough spots. But was please with the Zizzers.

They probably have to figure whether they get bonus points or not. CH was class 6"A" in Mississippi but probably have to convert their enrollment to MO standards to determine whether points for playing up a class are merited. Just speculation on my part.

They would be Class 4 in Missouri so it should be pretty simple. Just give the normal points for beating a team in your class.

I agree. Was just telling someone that we attempted a lot of passes last night. And I’d be shocked if we completed more than 38-40%.

Kenslow wasn’t pulling it and running as much, so the upside is that he’s comfortable with his protection, the downside is he could have gotten the first down on his feet multiple times if he would have pulled it but hey, it’s week one.

and I agree with needing to put in some work on special teams and as usual, getting rid of the stupid “extra” penalties. I think there was only two of those last night, but that’s still too many.

I think playing Center Hill will help prepare them for the rest of their schedule a lot more than playing Glendale would have. The only team similar to Glendale in the regular season is camdenton. And that’s assuming that cammy is still running the spread.

Apparently Kenslow was 63% on his passing last night. Which surprised me. Maybe it was his downfield throws getting incomplete that had me thinking different.
he had 230 TDs and 3 TDs through the air with no INTs and 75 yds rushing.

Lair had 129 yds of total offense and 2 TDs
He also had that 95 yd INT return for a TD that got called back

Miller had 144 yds of total offense and a TD

I may eat my words, but in the OC this year, barring any massive letdown or key injuries, any team in the conference outside of Howell County is playing for 2nd Place.
BUT this is why we play the game every Friday. Lebanon is always tough, in Camdenton in West Plains have developed a rivalry over the last decade, and bolivar has had West Plains’ number two years in a row now, anything can happen

Watched the Rolla Bolivar game. Rolla played the same flexbone offense Center Hill played Friday night. So that might be a advantage when West Plains plays Rolla in 2 weeks.
