Big game for the top of the I-70 Conference tonight as the 17-3 Wellington-Napoleon Tigers visited the 16-4 St Paul Saints. Both the Tigers and the Saints had lost to the same three teams this season (Santa Fe, in that wild and wacky Conference tourney, Odessa, and Higginsville, the Saints losing twice to the Huskers).

WN started fast thanks to 5 three pointers in the first half by Alex Rodenberg, and Saints star Eric Allen fouled out early in the 3rd quarter to help decide this. After the Tigers sprinted out to an early lead, the Saints could never get closer than 9 points the rest of the night.

WN is now 18-3 and the Saints fall to 16-5.
