Okay everyone here we go: All statistics etc. from the regular season are GONE thus everyone starts this contest fresh. All players survive the first three rounds where everything is the same as the regular season with solo picks and bonus/deductions at 30 pts. spread apply.
On Week 3 (District Championship) there will be a TIEBREAK (type TBD). The top EIGHT scorers will advance to Week 4 (C1-5 quarters and 8M-C6 semis). HERE is where things drastically change from the past five years as the pointspreads will be no more (keep it to a dull roar everyone) and I will select the top games STATEWIDE (check out some of the potential quarterfinal matchups you will see why).
FOUR will advance to the next round (C1-5 semis and 8M-C6 championship) and TWO to the final weekend (C1-5 championship).
Per usual all picks will be due by 7 PM Friday. There could be a few Saturday games (pending schools who do not have stadium lights potentially relocating i.e. Hogan Prep this week) so I will do my best to apprise everyone of those.
This contest is WINNER TAKE ALL and that person will win a 50 dollar gift card and will need to private email me his/her mailing info. As with prior years I never, ever keep private information of this sort beyond mailing your gift card(s) so players who won prior years will have to email again.
