Week 1 Game Needed for the 2016-17 Football Season

Jefferson (Festus) is looking for a Week 1 opponent for the upcoming 2016 football season. We were just notified this afternoon (Aug. 2) that our scheduled Week 1 opponent, will not be able to field a football team this year. We are a Class 2 school, located approximately 30 miles south of St. Louis. John F. Kennedy High School who also co-ops with Valley Park - They are located in St. Louis.

Jefferson will be playing Cabool. Kennedy with a new coach didn't have
enough interest. They are a soccer school.
