Class 5 Webster 60
Class 4-Vashon 59

The players were bumping each other during time outs and dead balls. Carte'are Gordon got a" T". Vashon was called for "T" with a 4 point advantage during the 3rd quarter. Webster hit 4 free throws and the ball out of bound. I believe this was the turning point of the game.

Vashon was up ten points @ the half. Webster showed why they could win the class 5 state championship by playing hard and down by 14 points in the middle of the second quarter and like wise for Vashon winning class 4.

Both teams have competing players. Webster has more asst. coaches then any high school team in America. I counted 10 asst. coaches on the bench while Jay Blossom is recovering from his eye operation. Coach Jay Blossom may not have a seat on the bench when he returns.

More and more Webster fans are turning out for the stretch run toward a class 5 state championship. This was a great game to watch with many highlights but the thing I will always remember is how many coaches were on the Webster bench.

When you win--ever body want to be part of it.

It's not just a winning thang, P.B. has 5 coaches on the bench for a boy's varsity game.
