Jason Meehan checks in as the No. 15 prospect in the Rivals.com top 20.
Meehan, a member of the Class 5 all-state football team piled
up 145 tackles in the championship season. Meehan dominated all over the
football field, compiling 99 solo tackles including 9 for loss, 6 sacks, 3
fumble recoveries, and 4 interceptions.
At 6-foot-2 inches, 219-pounds Meehan has great size at the
linebacker position, speed, and skills. Currently a Rivals.com Three-star
prospect, Meehan is receiving recruiting interest from Illinois, Iowa, Missouri,
and Wisconsin and awaiting his first offer.
When it does come time to make a decision, Meehan has a few
important things in mind.
"I'd like to go to a school that is known for their defense," he said. "You
know, somewhere when an offense comes in and knows it's going to be a tough day.
I just really want to play for a good defensive program."
