I'm thinking it will be at least 21. My reasoning: Flint (who several of us believe is a real Webb City fan) has not been on here posting about how great Carl Junction is to give his own team bulletin board material. So, he must not be worried at all that CJ will even keep this game close and must believe that Webb will win easily. Hence, I'm thinking Webb by a minimum of 21.

I think it would be close to a toss up game with Weston but not without

Appearently I'm in the minority but I wouldn't boast a big Webb win. Too many question marks. Especially on defense . Take what you want from the jamboree but Webb's d looked not up to their standards . They will get there at some point because their kids buy in and they have a great coaching staff but it's going to be a work in progress. The offense should be explosive if they get good line play but who knows there as well. I'm guessing by the end of the year it will be a team you don't want to face but they are too green now to be talking about blowing out the #1 team in class 4 (per Max preps)

Calpreps has Carl Junction as a 5 point favorite on a neutral field. With this game being played in Webb, it's pretty much a tossup.

Excuse me. Calpreps?

WC definitely has some bugs to work out particularly on defense if you out any stock in the jamboree but no one honestly thinks that CJ is the #1 team going into Class 4 unless Zeke Wall has some eligibility left and especially after losing Weston. Weston is not someone you just simply replace. Now Kennedy could play QB for anyone but I don't think Calpreps would be any more accurate, maybe less than a coin toss.

Any idea where the new Parks kid will be playing on the line??? Definitely turning some heads in the weight room kid is a horse

I'm with hitch, I think there are too many variables and unknowns here to confidently predict a lopsided final score. I do think Webb City will win the game and has more potential for the season but it seems like they've also got more question marks. If those questions get answered after a quarter or two then yes it could be a runaway in the second half. Otherwise I would expect a WC win but within an uncomfortable margin or maybe a game that hinges on a turnover or something.

I have always wondered how WC never has a down year. This is how.
Every school gets kids moving in and out every year. I think we had 105 kids on our roster, making it 106 I doubt makes a gigantic difference

Drive by some evening and watch grade school kids still practicing at 8:00 probably has more to do with it

I think Webb wins by 7 times the number of touchdowns Durand Henderson scores. He was the difference in both matchups last year. This year will be no different.

It is not illegal. Other schools have this advantage in other sports. It is just an explanation.

CJ is going to score points. Our defense will struggle with getting lined up early on in the season but will be fine by the end. This will be close game probably very high scoring. WC will definitely put up a lot of points. I would be shocked if CJ stops them twice during whole game.

Stamp it and send it to MOMMA!

Flint probably can't remember his password! He's old, 10-12 accounts, usually argues with himself on here since no one else is that dumb to argue with him..WEBB wins 41-12 with 400 rushing yards..

There's absolutely no way CJ wins this game. I learned that from two seasons ago. The Bulldogs might score more points, but either Webb wins or beats themselves.

What changed 2 years ago except CJ actually won a game.
