Great game the other day between Webb City and Platte County, but I am curious why no one has posted about the fumble/touchdown?

If you want to see the entire play go to KC Prep Report on Twitter. This page won't let me post the video.

Because it was ruled touchdown/fumble which is the same as touchdown/ no fumble. Ball comes out after breaking doesn't matter. That pic shows the left hand off the handle being held being carried by a right handed QB right at if not over the front of the white

Are you trying to say that he is breaking the plane in that picture?

It was really close. TV had a good angle on it and I went frame by frame and you just really couldn't tell. If the NFL it would have been the whole "stay with the call on the field."

Hard to tell if crossed at this point from a pic taking of the goaline at an angle of about the 30 yard line east side through #75 body (probably about a 45 degree angle view from looking straight down the goal line which should have a line judge on both sides at this point of the play looking directly down the line who judge the ball to have crossed in control), but if the ball is not over at the instance it isn't too far from it based on the location of the undercutting defenders body on the goal line and the ball over him and past his helmet. This picture also does not show a loose ball either only a ball that was obviously ruled to still be held in the QB predominant hand.

I would have to disagree with your statement “based on the location of the undercutting defenders body on the goal line and the ball over him and past his helmet.“ The undercutting defenders elbow is definitely on the playing field and not the goal line which would make his head at or in front his elbow. Now look at the undercutting defenders helmet, you can’t see part of it because of a blue glove which is attached to another persons arm. This establishes an arm and hand inside if the helmet. Now look at the ball, you can see it!! This means the ball is inside of blue gloved hand attached to an arm that is inside of the undercutting defender who’s elbow is on the playing field.

I will agree the ball has not broke contact from QB’s hand. I will say that where his fingers are and the angle of the ball, its coming out. If there were another picture in the sequenceit would be out. The video shows from the end zone side and when the ball pops out it’s at this angle.

I thought it was very close ...that being said ....Webb "sat" on the ball the entire 4th quarter basically . Meaning they would snap the ball unless the clock was under 5 sec. If they needed to try to go fast and score again .......they would have

Who cares. It happens.
Your right it does happen! IMO by reading the post on this website there would be a whole lot of people caring if this same thing happened to WC. I don’t think you can deny that.

I’m saying this with no sarcasm, I think it’s cool the way people defend WC football. It’s a true testament to what Coach Rod and the program has done.

If I recall correctly, they threw a 4th qtr INT that kept PC in the game. That's not sitting on the ball.

If you recall that was on 4th down with like 20 seconds left just trying to run off a few more seconds by running a play.
The interception was more around the 7:00 minute mark and I believe it was 3rd down. PC sacked WC on 4th down causing a fumble with under a minute to play.

Yes. You are right. That was one of the most athletic interceptions I have ever seen!! That is the one where he laid out for it correct?
No, QB threw to the flat, didn't see the OLB had dropped underneath, OLB jumped up and caught it. It was a good play, but the ball should have never been thrown. It surprised me at the time, bc the 1st and 2nd down plays were inside running plays, seemingly designed to play it safe and keep the clock running.

Dang it's amazing how you remember things versus how they really were in a game like that. Lol. I think I'm remembering the INT the week before at Harrisonville.
