Their Volleyball team is playing in front of about 40 Webb fans in attendance. I know its not football, but dang!
thanks MSHSAA!!!!Their Volleyball team is playing in front of about 40 Webb fans in attendance. I know its not football, but dang!
No reason not to split it into 2 weekends like basketball. It was not just Webb City either. Small crowds for most the schools. The 2 biggest Crowds were Ste. Genevieve and Eldon. The 2 Rural schools. Class 1 and Class 2 will have 3 times the crowdsthanks MSHSAA!!!!
Tarkio has the option on Friday of either:No reason not to split it into 2 weekends like basketball. It was not just Webb City either. Small crowds for most the schools. The 2 biggest Crowds were Ste. Genevieve and Eldon. The 2 Rural schools. Class 1 and Class 2 will have 3 times the crowds
They hope everyone pays to watch online. No reason not to split it into 2 weekends like basketball. It was not just Webb City either. Small crowds for most the schools. The 2 biggest Crowds were Ste. Genevieve and Eldon. The 2 Rural schools. Class 1 and Class 2 will have 3 times the crowds
This should never ever be a decision parents and fans have to make.Tarkio has the option on Friday of either:
1.) go to the home game of their 8-1 state ranked football team against another 8-1 state ranked team
Or
2.) drive 465 miles to watch the girls compete in the final 4 and potentially for a state championship.
may be the first final four for the volleyball team ever. If it’s not, it’s the first one in a LONG time.
they have some tall athletic players this year.
2 Sophs that are 5’11 & 6’1
2 Juniors that are both 5’10
A senior that’s also 5’11
Don’t see that kind of height spread across a team at the Class 1 level too often
Doesn’t surprise me. I’m general it seems the communities at smaller schools/towns get behind their kids better than the bigger schools/towns. Probably has to do with everyone knowing everyone. No reason not to split it into 2 weekends like basketball. It was not just Webb City either. Small crowds for most the schools. You love to give Camdenton a hard time and most of the time I disagree with you but I 100% agree with you on this. Awful that MSHSAA would not allow that football game to move to this evening. Once in a lifetime opportunity and somehow MSHSAA messes it up. Terrible no doubt.Tarkio has the option on Friday of either:

I remember attending my niece winning the C4 softball title in 2015 (Staley). There were "maybe" 50 fans in attendance (our family alone was a dozen or so) for them and circa the same for Marquette.Doesn’t surprise me. the product on the field or court generally is so much better with the bigger schools but you have to love the support the smaller schools get from their community.
For Tarkio, the team they’re playing is Advance. You love to give Camdenton a hard time and most of the time I disagree with you but I 100% agree with you on this. Did the St Mary’s (St.Louis) volleyball team “transfer”?Webb City lost to Incarnate Word who shouldn't be allowed in the MSHSAA playoffs at all

Also, now that the private schools are starting to move up and beat the bigger schools maybe something will get done.Did the St Mary’s volleyball team transfer?
Maybe. Also, now that the private schools are starting to move up and beat the bigger schools maybe something will get done.
If enough class 3-5 schools get fed up they may have to do something like different playoffs.Maybe.
Yup. Recruit your hearts out. Just do it against other schools who do the same.If enough class 3-5 schools get fed up they may have to do something like different playoffs.
Like basically every decent state does.
Whats' the difference between Link and the rest? They may as well let Link Academy in next.

MEGA rivalry across the board. Their basketball games are something to attend, too.I was at the Liberty vs. Liberty North district championship game in softball. As electric as any sporting event you will attend. Almost all parents only. But it felt like you were at Kauffman.

Yep the athlete pool all across the Northland is out of sight these days: Liberty North and Platte County won the two biggest baseball classes then add in the pools at Smithville, Kearney, Staley and the Park Hill SD PLUS NKC and now Oak Park football. Great times up this way!Liberty vs. Liberty North baseball. I was at that as well. First of all, you had a MLB high draft pick pitching. Scouts everywhere. And second, both teams are filled with future D1 and D2 commits. They just took turns winning state titles.
Back to the twelve pack, Kane!
Joe's 12 pack vs my 12 pack
HA! Joe hasnt looked like either one of these two guys in his entire life! Here's a good depiction of Joe
