Who are going to be behind TyRod this season??

Potts? Vanlue? Burroughs?

I really like that Burroughs kid. I said all of last year that if he can gain that extra "gear" for top end speed he will be dangerous. He has really good size and runs the ball well. I'm interested to see how he does.

Hunter will be there with Keaton. His speed will equal that of Phoenix in downhill running. Very fast. Also, there was a soph last year number 26 or 28 that had some pretty stout runs in garbage time so he may come into play as well.

Burroughs has the potential to be a special back. Do not know about Johnson speed but he is fast in the open field. Same goes for Vanlue, showed flashes of being very good. With the amount of "upside" these two backs have it would look like Potts would be the odd man out, except for the fact only an injury keep that kid off the field last season in an even more crowded backfield with Davison taking the bulk of the carries. Three backs that have all proven they can be the man is a good problem to have in Webb City.

They are absolutely loaded at rb. Any of the 3 would be great. Im curious if they dont try to move one to wr since they are so deep.

I was actually thinking Hunter had the speed, Keaton is a bruiser all the way. May be another Marty Rogers, Andrew Stanley type numbers year at running back. With all the talent returning at running back getting the talk, I actually think the returning linebacking core will be the strength of the team. Very well may be the best group at the position. Webb had an outstanding team last year but only a few key positions were seniors. Lot's returning. The least experienced my be the DB's but they starting safety returns and the corners returning played garbage halves every game.

99... Offensive backfield may be the only positions with a wealth of returning experience. O-line lost 3 good ones. Lost the top 3 pass catching WR.
Defense took big hits! Lost 4 defensive lineman, 3 signed LOI in the off season (may be best D-Line since Wistrom and Chad Webb played together in 1993, that should stir the pot some lol) Linebackers probably has the most returning but that being said I think we see a new ILB that did not play that position last season which should be a good addition. Secondary does return the safety but not only lost both corners who signed LOI but a backup who will play football in college too.
