Hey I remember a terrible game with about 7 turnovers last time I watched a game over there. Was a long 10 mile ride homeReally? Lol
Webb could be good. Lot depends on how well our QB’s step up and run the offense. Weathers and Kabala with a good line in front of them may be fun to watch if you are a Cardinal fanCJ is going to really struggle to beat anybody this year. I don't think they will lose every game but I'd be suprised if they win more than 4 games . If Webb doesn't turbo them then chalk it up as a win for cj
Carl junction looks horrible. I don’t think they could win 4 games in the big 8.
Webb has all but 1 starter back on defense. Class 4 in ,St. Louis is way down. Ladue will be okay but nobody else.
Stamp itWebb will turbo CJ. This one will be so bad that not even flint is picking CJ!
no one thought the ugly Americans were gonna beat Russia either. this could be the miracle on turf.[/QUOTE
That is like comparing apples to oranges, I saw CJ and they are bad.
Whatever happened to Flint?Webb will turbo CJ. This one will be so bad that not even flint is picking CJ!
The talent in CJ dropped so whatever Webb poster who decided the need to post bulletin material no longer felt the need. He will be back as a Carthage or Joplin guy I'm sure bc they are both very good .
Probably because that’s where they live I would think. Athletics aside I would much rather have my kids at a smaller school like CJ, Webb or CarthageI'm just hoping to see Buck dig deep into his trick play bag in hopes of stealing of few big plays!
On a sort of related note I did not realize until today that new MSSU coach's kids are playing at CJ this year. Not that it's an unusual choice, but I'd be curious to know what factors lead them there.
CJ has been a popular choice among various MSSU coaches ... Bart Tatum, Ronnie Ressel in BB, Nick Bradford in BB, and now Jeff Sims.I'm just hoping to see Buck dig deep into his trick play bag in hopes of stealing of few big plays!

Really sucks what’s going on with Lion football. Is there a local kid even left on the roster?? Pretty sure every kid from Webb who went over there has quitCJ has been a popular choice among various MSSU coaches ... Bart Tatum, Ronnie Ressel in BB, Nick Bradford in BB, and now Jeff Sims.

Well when I last looked my impression was Webb City housing was both more plentiful and cheaper than other surrounding towns. Almost seemed as if the area was overbuilt resulting in lower prices at least for starter and mid range homes. But that may not be the case. If I were looking for a higher end home like a college football coach might be, Briarbrook is probably a more attractive option unless you want to live way outside town.Probably housing options. Ever looked for a home to buy in Webb City?
The MSSU track coach lives in my neighborhood in CJ as well.CJ has been a popular choice among various MSSU coaches ... Bart Tatum, Ronnie Ressel in BB, Nick Bradford in BB, and now Jeff Sims.
Does Jeff Boschee live in carl as well? I saw him at the webb city walmart once but of course that's where many cj residents shop as well.
There are several local kids still on the roster. More than when Darryl Daye was here. I saw only one kid from Webb on last night's roster. Not sure what's going on there. I do know that MSSU went from a grandfather figure as coach to a very intense in-your-face kind of coach. Coach Sims has said his job is to push the kids and grow them to where they couldn't get themselves. While MSSU lost last night, I saw a completely different team on the field than I have seen for years. They could have given up at halftime, but didn't. They competed extremely hard until the end and made the game interesting. Also had the largest crowd i have seen in years. It looks like there are good things happening with MSSU football to me.Really sucks what’s going on with Lion football. Is there a local kid even left on the roster??
