If we give one of those dudes a start in the next 3 weeks and he gets hammered, which one is forgivable? Who one isnt?
I am talking about forgiving the manager.

If you start any of them, you need to be ready to go and get them at the first sign of trouble even if it is the 1st or 2nd inning.
Waino is the only one I can live with because he has pitched ok in his rehab and at least his history with the club justifies giving him the opportunity.
Weaver and Wacha no there are other better options.
Why would you start Wacha when C. Martinez is relegated to the bullpen

I hope Waino starts, as the Cardinals try to stumble into a WC spot.

Grrrrrrr. He’s getting a start. Gant, Gomber, Mikolis, Flaherty, Pray for Rain? I’d probably give Poncedeleon the nod over Weaver, Waino, or Wacha currently. Just don’t get the feeling Wacha is healthy. And don’t get the feeling Weaver or Waino have enough in the tank to get outs. Like Hudson out of the pen too much. Really just need a few starters to get through five freaking innings.

Seems like we have NO one right now with the stuff to put hitters away with 2 strikes. They either get a walk or foul off pitches til they get something they can handle.

I'd ride Poncedeleon until his arm fell off. He might not be the best guy to put your season on the line with...

But at least you know you put out someone who has the potential to get out of the 1st inning....maybe even throw 2

He's had his own issues lately, starters are having a hard time going 5 and the pen can't throw strikes the last several games. Cmart came in tonight and got the job done. The hit gave up was golfed into RF then got Harper looking at strike 3!

Looks like Wacha is done for the season, he did not make his most recent rehab start because of an obliqe issue.
