Watching these other playoff series

Let's face it, these teams all have better hitters than the Cardinals.

With their pitching collapse, the Cardinals looked worse in the playoffs than any other team. Like I said at mid season. You have to have a balanced team and be able to win 2-1 and sometimes win 8-6. We can't do the latter. We could have really used a Zobrist or Cespedes. Or both.

But the ownership is "proud of this team" because we got 3.5 million fans to fill the coffers and we only traded for Moss.
 
Can't argue Ducky but I really believe that the series has a different outcome if Jaimi doesn't pull his belly ache act and goes out and pitches like he had all year. We had the MO and Jaimi just handed it to the Cubs. The guy is not only injury proned but a huge headcase

Actually they won a lot of 2-1, 8-6 games this year......

If you are a right handed pitcher and you can throw a slider in the dirt you know Grichuk, Wong, Peralta, Adams, and the pitcher are no threat to you.
