I watched the Joplin jamboree online and was I seeing things. Webb City wasn't running the veer they had a spread offense and other sets.
Maybe my eyes were failing me but I sure thought I saw Webb running sets but never the veer. Can someone confirm this or say I am way
off base.

What are you even talking about!? I was referencing that bozo, I think his name was notserp, and his nonsensical posts. So NICE TRY THERE CLOWN!!!

The jamboree is a practice. WC runs veer a lot but not 100% of the time.

I didn't think the best program in Missouri would change no one has stopped their veer and no one ever will. It just shows you if a town buys into what you're doing from peewees to high school your success rate will be high. That is the beauty of small-town football up here in st. Louis, you just coach in a public school what walks in the door and rely on little league football teams for their development. There are a couple of exceptions Lutheran St. Charles brings the kids up in the head coaches football academy. Private schools have a lot of feeders programs. Soccer has really done a number on class 3 and 4 programs up here. I counted at least 15 public high schools up here with less than 30 total kids. Playing JV and frosh ball in class 3 and 4 schools is hard to do.

It isn’t about scrapping the veer. There are times, 3rd and long and 2 minute drill when it helps to be able to do more than one thing and it would be nice to practice it just a few times in something resembling a game situation.
