Walks by the bullpen are the difference in the game. Bad loss for the Birds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cards score 2 in the 1st and don't score again. 3R I have to agree Honny does not hit with RISP and it cost us big time tonight. Good night. Hopefully we get a win tomorrow

I nodded off after Neshek pitched the scoreless 8th. Woke back up with runners at 2nd and 3rd and no outs and Rosie on the mound. Didn't even need to rewind to tell what happened. I know he's got nice save numbers...but a closer with a WHIP of 1.4+ is like a radiator with a pin hole. Might be able to make it a while, but it's gonna blow up sooner or later.

Lets be serious. All three of us could have thrown out that runner at home in the 9th from that distance. Holliday could not.

At least he got behind the ball...and didn't need to waste time crow-hopping...and had his momentum moving toward the plate...WHAT? He didn't do any of that? Hmmmmmm...I swear, I really like the dude...but dang...that ball hits him on top of the melon if he misses it. How can someone who has played the OF his entire career look that GD awful tracking a ball in the air?

That said, his offense is a HUGE part of the reason the Birds are 2.5 ahead...and not 2.5 behind the Buccos. That last month or so, he's looked pretty solid at the plate.

I dig me some Jhoney too...but his freaking GIDP in the 1st was a crapper too. They had their chances in that game. Blew a game Lynn certainly deserved to win.
