So as of this morning, it’s looking as if it’s 49-49 on votes for witnesses still waiting on official word from Romney (likely a yes) and Murkowski (unclear).

I gotta ask though, why wouldn’t Sanders or Warren be considering voting “yes?” Two people running for President and can’t even get out on the campaign trail before the Iowa Caucasus. And if this thing does allow witnesses, they will be tied up for god only knows how long.

I get the polls show Sanders leading over Biden but still. I think AOC can only hold his base for so long before she blows something for him. Just odd that those two wouldn’t be considering voting “yes” IMO.

Probably because getting trump out of office is more important to them.

I expect at least one Dem (Manchin) to vote no. I think a lot of Dems don’t want witnesses if it means Biden or Schiff gets called. They want to appear they want witnesses. I’ll be surprised if this isn’t over by end of today.

I agree, I think Manchin swings over to vote no.

But the argument from the Dems saying that the Biden's have nothing to do with the impeachment is complete nonsense.

The article of impeachment on abuse of power is there because Dems believe that Trump abused the power of the office by asking Ukraine to investigate their corruption before they were to receive aid. I gotta know what corruption the Dem's think he meant there? He clearly mentions the Bidens, Burisma. I just don't understand how they can sit there and say that the Bidens have nothing to do with this.

Nancy has claimed the impeachment is a victory. Which actually means a loss for the losers.

This is over. Sanders can do nothing and still win Iowa and NH. If he wins Nevada it's a done deal. Losing the first 3 is almost impossible to recover from.

Let's be totally honest. Mueller found enough to impeach him without a problem except Barr was in trump's hip pocket and you know it.

I want the TRUTH! Call them all -Bolten, Rudy, Barr, Bidens, Schiff. Newest poll this morning 75% of Americans want witnesses called.

Lol. Show up at a trial, without a case then gripe about a acquittal, that was going to happen no matter what. Insane

Sounds like a solid case. The Non Fox media got him off lol.
This impeachment was always Trump versus the media. The same media that ignored Harvey, Matt, and killed stories about Epstein and Clinton (Georgey boy). Trumps like Mudman, the more mud the media throws, the more it sticks on him and he grows.
Everyone tried to warn the Democrats, but nooo.

Including you

Admittedly including me. Trust me, I'm not putting myself on any type of pedestal. I'm smart enough to know I don't know ANYTHING about these proceedings or what is necessary.

Wish everyone else here would admit the same instead of acting like they're all Washington insiders.

Witnesses? The Dems called 17 witnesses in the House hearings allowing ZERO Pub witnesses. Talk about a fair tril needing to happen. Now the Dems are insisting on more witnesses they want but still none for the Pubs to make a "fair" trial.

I admit it. Like I said on another post both parties should be ashamed of dragging the country thru this. The truth is somewhere in the middle and nowhere to be found.
