Was it Cuomo that said they NEEDED 30,000+ ventilators? I think Trump said they didn't (and probably wouldn't) and now I see the hospitalization total for NY is 40,000 (hospitalized not intubated). I've also read that they believe ventilator use was way overused in the beginning. What are we gonna do with all the ventilators everyone is making?

Ventilators are the last ditch effort when people can’t breath on their own. That’s why they are in ICU. You don’t get put on one unless you are critically ill.

I think it's more Like 11=15%...Which is just a bit above Chance. It is a last ditch effort though. Once the vent is needed you are usually going to die.

Yep, that is where NY buries their unclaimed dead every day. There may be more since there are more dead but it isn't new. That doesn't stop the uneducated CNN viewer from getting the desired reaction though.

If I haven't owned it how do I??? This is the second thread I said I predicted 7000! Also, in that prediction thread that I started (I just owned that too) I had qualifiers on MY prediction (just owned it again).

I do find it weird that he tried to somehow belittle your prediction by implying that a prediction is in some way correlated or effects the actual death from C19 or at the least it's in bad taste. Let's face it, we weren't going to round up 4 million illegals in '84 and we are not going to start rounding up 14 million people and deport them. I see our best option now is amnesty once again for the illegals here, provided the have no criminal record or on a terrorist list and get legal documentation and start paying income taxes. and make sure we shut the door this time with zero tolerance for any illegal caught here, anyone harboring an illegal, and anyone hiring an illegal.

He could have shut the door but he didn't. How many kids did those 4000 have that were automatically U.S. citizens? The hiring art just ain't gonna happen because it's the big money folks that hire most of them. If the jobs went away so would the problem, start by finding who is hiring them and pour it on em.

60 Minutes did a story some time ago about Mexicans coming in on 6 month work visas. 800,000 work visas are given out every year and half of them don't return to Mexico after 6 months have expired. Another loophole we have to close.
