First, Normandy did a poor job of hosting. Two people taking tickets, two people checking you before you enter. People standing in the wrong line to get in because there was no crowed control outside, people were jumping in line, a real cluster #%&!. Poor job.
Yes, Vashon was in control from the start. They were the best team on the floor and Cam'Ron Fletcher was the best player on the floor. Only one technical foul on Vashon, should have been 4 or 5 or 6.
The Missouri Tigers need to find a way to get Fletcher to Mizzou. He could be a special player. He has all the tools.

It may be to late for Martin and Porter Sr. on Cam'Ron Fletcher. Kentucky coach John Calipari has made three visits to see Vashon games this season according to Mouse Miller ( One of Vashon's former players ). If Kentucky makes the offer, Cam'Ron Fletcher will be a Kentucky Wildcats in 2021.

I was @ a Vashon game two years ago, Cam'Ron's grand mother was sitting behind me, when he would get in the game as a freshman sub on the Woverine varsity, the grand mother would cheer for her grandson. I started a conversation with her, I ask her what high school Cam'Ron would attend if he did not enrolled @ Vashon before his freshman year? She replied " John Burroughs high school ". I told her that a very high academic high school, she replied, that why we would him to go there. When it became time to enroll @ John Burroughs, Cam'Ron said grandma, I have been attending Vashon games since first grade, I want to go to Vashon like uncle Andy did. The grandma was right in a way but Cam'Ron wanted to follow his roots and this could led to being Kentucky Wildcat very soon.

Not surprising if he goes to Kentucky or Duke or Kansas. But if he really loves his family, he'll make it easy for them to watch him play in Columbia and some day watch them hang his jersey in the rafters. Oh well.....you can dream. Maybe MU could get someone in his family a job on the coaching staff.
On another note......I don't see Mckinney helping the Tigers next year other than off the bench, limited minutes. I hope I'm wrong......Tigers need help.

Very good Pure Swing. How many high profile basketballer in America would enroll @ Missouri if Kentucky came calling? Look @ the TV exposure, the attendance, the opportunities after graduation? Josh Harrellson from St. Charles is a Kentucky family member. Most of the former Kentucky basketball players return on the yearly basic to Rupp Arena for visits. All former Kentucky basketball players are considered family and if anyone falls on hard time, help is on the way.
If Kentucky calls, families must listen.

What is McKinney's position in college?

So you can just pick and choose any school to go to you want or what

Train, the rules on enrollment by the MSHSAA are clear. If a student enrolls before his or her freshman year in high school regardless of what district they live, they are eligible, if the district will enroll them.

I am hearing about a student who played for Scott County Central's 8th grade team this year, will enroll @ Delta before his freshman year without moving, he is eligible, period. David Heeb is the principal @ Delta high school, Heeb knows the rules better then most in Missouri and would not enroll the kid from SCC if there were problems.

Train, I enjoyed your post this year and hope to read your post next year. Your team Sikeston will be a little down next year but should be back rolling very soon.
Judging from their returning players, Drew Church and Cape Central appear to be the next southeast Missouri power among large schools. Sikeston is a traditional school, it would not surprise me if the Sikeston Bulldogs overachieve next year.

Well, McKinney needs work to be a point or shooting guard. I've only seen him play four times.
Unless he really develops that's why I think he'll have limited minutes.
I understand the Kentucky, Duke, Kansas draw to a kid. I know it's hard for MU to compete with that but you can hope a kid like Fletcher would want to stay close to his family. That gives the Tigers a slim shot.

I heard this will be Church’s last season as Central’s HC. Moving into administration.

Metro, I hear Heeb is Super now... not next year.. but now. Of course he's taking kids from SCC, why do you think Bell City has a couple of final 4 visits?
