As I have continually stated right or wrong the rules are what they are.... The original disagreement was over developing players and programs. Personally I don't judge any coach on whether I think they are good or bad but I do have my own thoughts on ethics and values within a program. To each their own...
I'm with you legend if your a coach and you want to bend ,stretch ,or break the rules or whatever you want to call it so you can be the best and you sleep good at night doing it oh well
Train and Legend, are you saying Vashon is bending, stretching and breaking rules? I could be wrong but Legend is saying Ethics and Values are lacking @ Vashon. If I have misquoted you, please refute the above otherwise let the records speak loud and clear. I will disagree with both of you on Vashon breaking rules.
Kenny56, I have no issues with SEMO team but a few SEMO posters on MoSports have issues with St. Louis area team. Kenny56 welcome aboard and thanks for your comment. I believe a class 4 state champion will be from St. Louis.

In that I never said the Vashon program lacked ethical practices or values I just personally think those are qualities of a good clean program. I will let you be the judge on whether they fit that criteria. Read any and all of my replies you will not find me saying Vashon is cheating. What do I know though I am neither from STL or from the SEMO area.

Game will be settled on the court. Best team wins. Doesn't matter how much stirring Metro-Dude does. Sikeston will play with heart and passion. It's obvious no one in the metro area gives them a chance and that's fine. But I will say this to Metro. As much as you have bashed the Bulldogs schedule. As much as you have stirred the pot on anything concerning the Bulldogs. If by the miracle you basically have said it will take for them to win. You better darn well acknowledge them in a better light from here on out. Win lose or draw both teams will give it all they have. Both fan bases will be passionate and loud. And Metro can stir the just for men and prepare for next years agenda.
If Sikeston defeats Vashon, I will be the first to say " Good Game " Sikeston and post it on MoSports. I noticed you singled me out for picking Vashon as a favorite to win however there were others posters who have picked Vashon to win but you did not mentioned them, Why!

"No one in the metro area"..... and as for you. There has been no one else that has picked apart the Bulldogs like you have. Personal agenda.... yes. Back to your Richland days I'm sure. Does that have anything to do with today's Bulldog roster? NO. But yet you continue to sit up on your self-appointed pedestal and cast down your opinions on how Sikeston's Basketball program doesn't fit your basketball mold. Defend your area and we will defend ours. But know one thing, you can try to discredit all you want, but there will be a sea of red and black that will defend any attack you have and that's what makes Sikeston Basketball who it is. I have not said Vashon is cheating. If the rules are as you say they are in St. Louis it's not cheating to recruit players. YOU said they do not recruit players, they recruit students. I said if YOU believe that I have something to sell you here in Butler County. Even you can't really believe Tony Irons/Vashon is only trying to bring in kids that are good in academics and have no idea if they play basketball at a high level.
