Tony Irons and the Vashon Woverines have lost to two out of Missouri teams this season. ( Blue Valley, Kansas 56-60 and Jonesboro, Arkansas 63-81 ) The Woverines are undefeated against Missouri competition to date but the " Odds " are one or more defeats are imminent.

2-10-17-------SLUH 17-5 @ Vashon-------------------------To close to call
2-16-17-------Webster 15-2 @ Vashon----------------------Webster should be favored in this one.
2-22-17-------Vashon @ Hazelwood Central--13-7-------If the Hawks show up, it's to close to call.

It appear " Master Tony " is getting his team ready to repeat as class 4 state champions. Master Tony has scheduled back to back games ( Soldan and Webster ) to get his players ready to play back to back in the final four.

Vashon and " Master Tony " has the toughest path to the final four of any team in class 4 in Missouri. Let's look @ the possible opponents for the Woverines before making reservations in Columbia.

Class 4---District 4------------------------Class 4 District 3
1. Vashon-----------------------------------St. Mary's
2. Career Academy-----------------------Affton
3. Soldan

Sectional should feature--Vashon and St. Mary's

If Vashon wins their sectional game against St. Mary's ( That will not be easy )

The quarters finals will feature Vashon and very good Sikeston team ( Barring upsets ) for a class 4 final four.

Play is dominated by theses six players--Four Seniors , one Junior and one Sophomore
1. Danial Ferris ------6'1"--Sr.------11.3 PPG
2.Mario McKinney---6'2"--Soph.--11.3 PPG
3. Joe Reece----------6'8"--Jr.------12.8 PPG
4. Levi Stockard------6'8" Sr. ------14.0 PPG
5. Ko Ray Gilbert-----6'4" Sr.-------8.5 PPG
6. Casey Jackson-----6'1" Sr.------7.0 PPG
