7th ranked Boonville lost their 1 vs 4 game tonight. I think that's the first state-ranked class 4 or 5 to lose. Marshall is 24-2 though, so that might not actually be an upset.

Owensville is the last seed in their district but upset 3rd Sullivan Saturday and 2nd St. Clair tonight. If they can beat Rolla in the championship they'll have beaten the the top three seeds.

Any other surprising outcomes so far?

I think 3rd seed Osage beat 2nd seed Helias in the same district as Marshall and Boonville.

District #5 Seed Eugene ran through #4 Crocker, #1 Stoutland and #3 Plato (also a buzzer-beating upset over #2 Richland) to take Class 2 District 8.

Sweet run is right. They have probably reached their ceiling for this year as they face a very good Northeast team this next round. However, they are very young and lose very few significant minutes to graduation.

The closest game was against Crocker in the 4/5 matchup. Crocker actually had them down late but had a couple turnovers and Eugene ended up winning by 5. They beat Stoutland by 9 and Plato by 18 in the championship. One of the things that really helped the Eagles is that they shoot FTs really well! Their Sophomore Guard is quick and tough!
