40 bowl games this year is a record (up from 35 two years ago, not even counting the title game); that's 80 out of the 128 FBS teams or nearly two thirds (63%).

That's practically the definition of watered down...

agreed . Make it a 16 team field and EARN it on the field.
All conference champs from power 5 then use BCS numbers

Yeah they won their last two bowls but had some dignity and didn't ho themselves out like a few other programs by accepting bids with 5 wins.

Here is an idea. Go see how many threads about FSU I have started. Then find how many they get dragged into. Then find who the common denominators are.
