Once again Joe Maddon uses the bunt to show how unprepared the Cardinals are. Fourth inning first and third and the Cubs lay down a crappy bunt in front of the plate. The problem is Matheny had Wong playing inches from second making it impossible for him to cover first and Moss charged the bunt. Maddon was laughing at Matheny.

Who got the last laugh though? Cards won. It's a long season, and managers are gonna make mistakes. I seem to remember a lot of people ripping on TLR and he was one of the greatest managers in the history of the game.

Valid point. I'm thinking Oquendo being out is one of the main issues with the defense though. Granted, Matheny hasn't adjusted accordingly, but I think it's definitely hurting them.

Meanwhile....the Cubs have lost 8 out of 12. ESPN and MLB Network are on Suicide Watch.

A week or so ago one of the ESPN experts was on 101FM in STL saying the Cubs winning 100 games was a given. The question was whether they could win 106-108 games to be considered one of the greatest teams of all time. They haven't won a series since. I hope that continues.

Him and Shelby must have worked out this winter together

They both just look.....I'm not even sure they look like AAA pitchers currently. Both very shocking
